A one-piece, fully contoured motorplate is machined from a solid chunk of billet aluminum and then polished to a high-class shine; throw in our renowned Cyclone Open Primary Belt Drive and you have a winning combination.

The contoured lines of the Cyclone System compliment any ‘07-Up Softail, Dyna, or FL, and is available in 2” and 3” belt widths. Also available is our modular belt guard system, designed to keep your leg safe and your bike looking great (pictured below).

This guard system can be used in a front/side configuration or a full side configuration (as shown below).

Tech Cycle manufactures a Twister Start Kit for just about anything you can build.  From Panhead to Shovelhead to Evolution motors, and from 4-Speed to 5-Speed, or to 5 or 6-Speed in a 4-Speed box, we have you covered.

Twister electric start kits give you the option of tieing your motor to your transmission through the use of an optional great plate or keeping that crisp, clean look by using just the bearing support plate. Add an optional alternator cover and your project is complete. Each Twister electric start kit includes the following:

› Tornado Starter (except late model 5-Speed kit) 
› Bearing Support Plate (except Panhead) 
› Ring Gear and Ring Gear Adapter 
› Mounting Plates and Hardware 

Twister Electric Start Kits can be installed on rigid or swingarm frames and can be used with most aftermarket belt drives.  Some installations may require slight modifications and the use of aftermarket components.  Chrome plating and right side drive specific applications available upon request.

Do you enjoy kicking over that old Panhead of yours?

Tech Cycle manufactures a Twister Electric Start Kit for both rigid and swingarm Panhead applications.

The Twister kit mounts directly to your transmission mounting plate, as shown in the picture above. 

The kit must be used with a primary belt drive, electric start oil tank, and a low profile 12V battery. 

It can be used with certain 1-1/2", 2", or 3" primary belt drives, and with some modifications to your tin primary covers, you can retain that original Panhead look.

Note:  Tin primary covers can only be utilized with a Tech Cycle 1-1/2" primary belt drive installed.

The Twister Electric Start Kit for Panheads includes the following: 
 › 1.4kW high-torque, gear-reduction starter in natural finish 
 › Gearbox and mounting plates for swingarm or rigid applications 
 › Support brackets and support arms 
 › Closed nosecone shaft support assembly 
 › Ring gear and adapter that mounts to the back of certain primary belt drive clutch baskets 
 › Heavy duty battery cable and connectors
